Keren, Sarah

Assistant Professor
History Highlights:
  • Sarah completed her master's and third degree in information management engineering at the Technion, under the guidance of Prof. Avigdor Gal and Prof. Erez Karpas, and completed her studies as a postdoctoral student at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Harvard University, under the guidance of Prof. Barbara Gross and Prof. David Parks. She completed her third year at Harvard as part of a joint appointment with the School of Engineering and Computer Science at the Hebrew University, where she worked under the guidance of Prof. Jeff Rosenshein. Sarah's research focuses on building a set of theoretical and applied tools that support and encourage collaborations between autonomous AI agents and robots, as well as between AI agents and humans. This, while using diverse tools that include automatic planning and model-based inference, learning from feedback (reinforcement learning) in multi-agent systems and hierarchical planning of robots
Research Interests:
  • multi-robot systems
  • AI enabled robotics
  • task and motion planning
