- Nahum Shimkin received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion in 1991. During 1992-1993 he was a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Minnesota, and in 1993-95 he worked as a senior research engineer in RAFAEL. Since 1995 he has been with the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where is now a Professor, and served as Dean during 2018-2021. He formerly served as President of the Israeli Association for Automatic Control, and Vice President of the Operations Research Society of Israel.
